Multicultural Night, Field Trips, Assemblies, & More.....
This month was filled with exciting experiences and meaningful moments for our students! We kicked things off during the school day with our in-school Multicultural Parade, as students proudly wore traditional clothing and carried self-created personalized posters to honor their heritage while learning about the cultures of their peers. The celebration continued with a vibrant PTA-sponsored Multicultural Night, where families came together to celebrate the rich diversity of our school community through lively music, flavorful and authentic food, expressive art, and dynamic performances that captivated the audience.
To top it all off, the entire school enjoyed a dynamic and educational assembly with a real-life meteorologist, John Marshall! Sponsored by our amazing PTA, this assembly brought science to life and sparked students' curiosity about weather patterns and meteorology.
It has truly been a month full of learning, creativity, and community spirit!
Updates from the Office
Absences, Early Dismissal, Late Arrival:
While it sounds like it is just for dismissal, PickUp Patrol (PUP) is actually a helpful tool for reporting absences, early dismissals, and late arrivals as well! It’s made managing changes to your child’s day smoother and more efficient for everyone.
- Please remember to enter any changes before the portal closes at 2:00pm.
- You are also welcome to schedule changes in advance—there’s no need to wait until the day of.
- We always follow the plan entered in PUP, so it’s important that all updates are made there to ensure a safe and smooth day for your child.
Student Drop Off
As a reminder, when dropping students off in the circle at any time, please have children exit the vehicle on the passenger side only. The driver’s side faces a lane with passing cars, and it poses a safety risk for students getting out on that side. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us keep all of our students safe. Thank you for your continued support!
