**UPDATED EARLY DISMISSAL & LATE ARRIVAL INFORMATION**
We understand that there are times when your child(ren) will need to leave school early or be dismissed for doctor, dentist, or other appointments. While we recognize these are important, we want to remind families of the value of instructional time. Every moment in class is crucial for your child’s learning, so we ask that you make every effort to schedule appointments outside of school hours when possible.
When early dismissal or appointments are necessary, please inform us in advance by emailing both your child’s homeroom teacher and the Front Office at frontoffice@sttheresa.cc. Include your child’s name, the date, and the time of the appointment or early dismissal. Early pickups and late arrivals follow the same protocols as our absence policy. In addition, parents must sign-in their child/ren in the Front Office after returning from an appointment or if a student is arriving later than 8:30AM.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Mrs. Saunders or Mrs. Fox. Thank you for your understanding and support!

SAVE THE DATE FOR GIVINGTUESDAY ON DECEMBER 3RD!
GivingTuesday is an opportunity for people around the world to use their individual power of generosity to support their communities. On December 3rd, we are excited to celebrate GivingTuesday with a special rally to benefit the Annual Fund, which provides for the following:
- Our Greatest Needs: Our greatest needs includes essential updates to our school campus and key projects
- Support for Our Faculty & Staff: Investing in our faculty and staff is a priority, which includes allocating budget dollars to help us retain and attract the most dedicated and exceptional teachers
- Academic & Fine Arts Program Enhancements: Join us in our mission to shape the future of our students by contributing funds that will enable us to actively acquire and implement a wide range of advanced educational and fine arts resources that will significantly enhance our students' learning experience.
The Annual Fund serves as the foundation of charitable contributions at St. Theresa. Gifts made to this fund are unrestricted and aid in covering a range of expenses that play a key role in your child's educational experience. The Annual Fund plays a vital role in generating revenue, helping us address the ongoing requirements of a 21st century education system.
OUR GOAL FOR THE 2024-2025 ANNUAL FUND IS 100% PARTICIPATION FROM ALL STCS FAMILIES! Every gift matters - no matter the size. Get ready to unleash your generosity and help us reach our goal on GivingTuesday, December 3rd!

SMART FAMILIES
Variable Reward, Social Media & Mental Health
The pervasive influence of social media is reflected in the 5 billion users worldwide. But what drives people to engage, sometimes obsessively, with others on social media?
In this issue, Smart Families talks about how reward impacts behaviors, cycles of repetitive actions and short form content.
"As parents, it's critical to understand that the constant exposure to this type of content may shape the way your child thinks, learns, and engages with the world."

WELCOMING ADVENT INTO YOUR HOME - ADVENT BY CANDLELIGHT
Advent by Candlelight is an opportunity for women to slow down, take an evening for themselves, and reflect and pray on the true meaning of Advent. As we wait for the birth of Jesus, the busyness of the Christmas season, it's important not to get lost in the hustle and bustle the season can demand. We will start with a reflection from our guest speaker, Katie Hartfiel from She Shall Be Called Women, on Friday, December 6th, at 6:30PM, followed by dinner and music in the Fellowship Hall. The event will have a heartfelt donation of $20 to cover the food. Space is limited. Contact: Connie Huch at 346-335-1832 or c.huch@sttheresa.cc. Visit: sttheresa.cc/abc
