Dear OMS families,

One more week to go and we will officially close out a whirlwind of a year. Next week our teachers will take time to celebrate all of our student's accomplishments with various activities throughout the week. Each classroom and grade level will be celebrating differently so please be on the lookout for your classroom newsletters.

With the increasing temperatures next week we will allow students to leave their assigned play zones so they can find shade.

If their classroom zone is on the blacktop they will stay on the blacktop but can go in the areas that are shaded. If their zone is in the field they can find shade in the field.

We will still require students to wear masks unless they are 6 feet apart. PLEASE send your child with a water bottle that they can bring out to recess with them. They will be encouraged to take mask breaks, find shade, and drink water.

**If students are running we will allow them to pull their masks down and put them back up again when they are standing or playing near others.

Please click here to see photos for items that may be missing from your household. If you see anything that belongs to you, please contact the office at OMSoffice@sd25.org with the identifying item number and we will get it to your student.

Please note that any unclaimed items will be donated at the end of the day on Friday, June 11.

If your child has medication in the health office, you should have received an email from Mrs. Rose about how & when to pick it up. Student medications may not be left at the school over the summer, even if the student is returning in August. Any medication not picked up by Friday 6/11 will be disposed of.

We will have a crayon collection through The Crayon Initiative on the last day of school, Friday, June 11th, from 3:15 pm-4:00 pm. There will be an Eagle Scout at Olive on our blacktop collecting crayons to be recycled. Visit https://thecrayoninitiative.org/ for more information regarding the project. Donations welcome!

6/7 - Uniform Day - wear your favorite sports team uniform or t-shirt!

6/8 - Video Day- Watch a surprise video!

6/9 - Wall to Wall clean-up day! Empty and clean your desk.

6/10 - eXchange Autographs - Yearbook signing day!

6/11- Yell - Hoot, Hoot, Hooray as you exit the building and Zoom on home for the summer!

If you are a fully-remote family, we will collect school items on Friday, June 11th, between 4:00pm and 5:00pm. You may bring the items to the front entrance. If you are unable to make that time slot, you may return items any time between 8:15 am - 4:00 pm on Monday, June 14th. Classroom teachers will let you know what items need to be returned.
