Welcome to Berylwood Elementary! We are excited to start the 2024-2025 school year. Our office is now open Monday-Friday from 8:00-4:00. Our phone number is (805) 520-6705.

The first day of school is Thursday, August 15th. We are looking forward to meeting everyone soon!

Summer can be a fun time to play and connect with others. Our summer routines are different from when we are in school. Now is a good time to practice getting back into your school routines. Here are a few things that can help get your child ready for school.

1. Early to bed, early to rise. Getting back into a school sleep schedule is important.

2. Re-establish a routine. Establishing a consistent routine is important for kids.

3. Limit screen time.

4. Read everyday.

All Simi Valley Schools use the Raptor Visitor Management System. This web-based software provides a sophisticated check-in and check-out system for all visitors coming to our schools and facilities. In addition to providing a data trail of visitors to our sites, this system will provide details of each visit, produce visitor badges, check-in/out all visitors, and electronically search each visitor’s information against national registered sexual offender databases. If you are scheduled to volunteer on campus you will need to complete the volunteer paperwork and provide a copy of your current state issued photo ID prior to helping at school. Each volunteer session you will need to bring your state issued ID so we can print your badge. Feel free to call our office at (805) 520-6705 with any questions.

August 28- ELAC/Title 1 Orientation Meeting in the auditorium- 8:15 AM

August 29- Back to School Night- 6:00-7:00 PM

August 30- Early Dismissal at 12:55 PM

September 2- No School

September 10- Toppers Pizza Night- 3:30-9:00

September 11- Early Release Day- All students in the district get out at 12:00 PM.
