Important Reminders and Updates for 24-25!
- Lunch delivery: parents and emergency contacts listed in Skyward are the only ones that can drop off lunch for their students and they must check in at the front office. *No Door Dash Accepted. Energy drinks are not allowed on any SFISD campus.
- Please do not allow students to bring metal cups to school- this is for safety reasons- they cannot be taken through the metal detectors. They will be taken up.
- The dress code didn't change much. See below for a link to the policy. Friendly reminder for no hats, hoods, oversized house-shoes, low cut shirts, or shirts showing the midriff. Parents will be contacted if a student is out of dress code to help fix the violation. *Please make sure shorts and skirts are no shorter than fingertip length. Holes in jeans and shorts must be below fingertip length.
- We still have a no cell phone policy, however, students may use cell phones before school, during lunch, and after school. See below for the link to the policy.
- We plan to hold *targeted* tutorials after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We are also hoping to offer a variety of clubs for students to encourage attendance. More information to come! Tutorials start on week three of school and transportation is available.
- We will have designated entry points (entrance doors) for students in the mornings. We would like to give 6th graders their own entry space since this can be a little stressful initially.
- Only water will be allowed in the classrooms. If a student has breakfast, tea, coffee, or soda upon entry, they will be allowed to go to the cafeteria to eat and drink.
Student Council - Coming Soon! This will be an after school club.

National Junior Honor Society
If your student was inducted into the NJHS at the end of the year last year, please encourage them to get involved and attend all meetings. The NJHS leader is Ms. Mia Gonzalez.
