NHS Weekly Family Newsletter
December 2, 2024
PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Dear Students and Families,
We hope you had a restful and joyful Thanksgiving break! As we return to campus, we are excited about the fun and engaging activities planned for the next few weeks. At the same time, it’s important for us to stay focused as we approach the end of the fall semester.
Semester exams are just around the corner and serve as an important measure of what students have learned. These exams are worth one-seventh of the semester grade and should be taken seriously. High school students, remember that every grade and point counts toward your GPA and class rank, so it’s essential to put your best effort forward.
This newsletter includes critical information about semester exams and exemption guidelines. Please take time to review it carefully. Exemptions from final exams are a privilege earned through good grades, attendance, behavior, and proper care of school-issued Chromebooks. This privilege can be revoked if expectations are not met, so we ask all students to stay on track, comply with school rules, and follow the exemption requirements fully.
We’re looking forward to finishing this semester strong. Let’s make the last few weeks of 2024 a success!

Conduct at Sporting Events
Parents,
Our athletes work hard to represent NHS with dedication and skill, and we want our fans to support them in a way that reflects the spirit of respect, sportsmanship, and unity we hold so dear.
We encourage everyone attending our games to show support in a way that uplifts our team and respects our opponents, referees, and fellow fans.
Celebrating our players' achievements and respecting others, win or lose, helps create a positive environment that makes NHS events memorable for everyone.
Let’s make each game a proud moment for our school community. Thank you for helping us model great sportsmanship and ensuring that NHS stands out not only for our talent but also for our character.
Go Panthers!
