June 2024 Newsletter
Superintendent Update
Thank you for a wonderful school year! I really appreciate the strong partnership between our schools, staff, and families. Your support is critical in helping our students achieve academic success.
Our students thrived this year. They were able to participate in field trips, outdoor school, sports, band concerts, plays, swim lessons, hands-on projects, and form positive connections with their classmates and our staff. It has been a great school year.
My favorite day of the school year is graduation. It’s a time to celebrate our students' successes and cheer them on as they head off on their next adventures. In this newsletter, you will find some pictures from the graduation ceremony. Congratulations to the class of 2024. Congratulations to the families of the class of 2024.
Have a wonderful summer break. Enjoy time with your loved ones. Get outside and play, read every day, and take good care of yourself and each other.
I look forward to seeing you next school year.
Thank you.

Thanks to funding from the White Salmon Valley Pool Metropolitan Park District, swimming lessons have been made possible for every 3rd Grader at Whitson Elementary this school year.
In addition, we appreciate the life-saving services of Marina Sheriff Joel Carmody and SUP World Champion, Fiona Wylde, of Wylde Wind & Water, for coming to teach our students about water safety.
