LPS Tiger Talk

Dear LPS Families,

Welcome to Loveland Primary School. Whether you are a returning family, a new family to Loveland, or are just new to LPS, we are excited to have you with us this year!

Every Friday, LPS will send out a building communication called the LPS Tiger Talk. This communication contains important and helpful information for families. In general, we try to limit the white noise while still including the information that is relevant and important to you. Some items may be repeated, but for the most part, there will be updated and new content weekly.

Today's Tiger Talk contains more information than is typical as we prepare for the start of the year. Please go through the information carefully so you don't miss a beat as we kick-off the 2024-2025 school year. Our placement information was posted yesterday on Tigerparent.me and there is a ton of useful information included below along with some tasks that may still need to be completed.

I'm also sharing a couple of "Pro Tips" for families who decide to drop their child off or pick them up from school instead of having them ride the bus (either daily or occasionally). Families need to complete Final Forms by following this link: https://loveland-oh.finalforms.com/. It’s important to update contact information, an Emergency Medical Authorization, and other information about your student before the first day of school.

If your student is a bus rider and will be picked up or dropped off anywhere other than home during the 2024-25 school year, please let our Transportation Department know. For example, if your student will be dropped off to an after-school caregiver on certain days, our Transportation Department needs that information to plan school bus routes. Follow this link to log into Final Forms and update the Transportation section.

Please only request transportation for your student if you intend to use it. If your circumstances change and you need transportation at some point during the school year, you can always request it by contacting our transportation department.

Doors open at 8:45 am for parents to drop off their car riders. Our school day begins at 8:55 am. Parents should arrive no later than 3:20 pm to pick up their car riders. Please park across the street in the Shoppers Haven parking lot and bring your picture ID. Dismissal starts at 3:30 pm.

School Fees for the 2024-2025 school year have now been posted to tigerparent.me. Please note that the total due may include fees from previous years that remain unpaid. Student fees are paid through https://payschoolscentral.com/. PaySchools Central is also where you can add funds to your student’s lunch account or apply for free or reduced meals if your family qualifies.

If your child will need to receive medication while here at school, we will have medication drop off hours from 9-11:30 and 1-3:30 on Monday, August 12 and 12-3:30 on Tuesday, August 13. Please be advised that if you're dropping off medication during our Open House there may be a wait depending on the volume of traffic at the time of your visit. Have questions?
