Good Times @ EPE

Dear Families,

It was so exciting to see everyone for our Christmas Concert last night. It truly is a fantastic way to kick off the Christmas season and we are so proud of our students for their hard work and dedication over the last few weeks as they have prepared for the concert. It was great to get together as a school community and celebrate our student's growth! A huge thank you has to go out, as always to the amazing Ms. Croke, our classroom teachers (Ms. Randell-Dawe, Ms. Foley, Ms. Healey, Ms. Somers Mme Berniquez, Mme Penney and Ms. Randell) and our wonderful IRT teachers (Ms. Fifield and Ms. Hatch). It truly takes a village to produce such a fantastic show, and we thank them for their hard work.

• Friday, December 20th - Last Day before Christmas Holidays (Dismissal at 12:30)
• December 21-January 5 - Christmas Break
• Monday, January 6th - Students Return
• Friday, January 17th - School Closed for Professional Learning
• Friday, February 7th - School Closed for Professional Learning
• February 21st - Monday 24th - Mid Winter Break

Please be aware that the 50/50 fundraising draw that we initially had scheduled for December will be postponed until February.

We have been blessed to have the offer of some Christmas Food Hampers from our friends at the Kinsmen Club in Paradise. If this would help your family at this time, please reach out confidentially to taralynch@nlschools.ca. We thank the Kinsmen so much for their generosity.

Please be aware that Chartwells are offering a hot dog special this coming Tuesday (17th) for $6.60 including a hot dog, fries, cookie and milk.

• Nuts, Tree Nuts, Peanuts (please do not bring Wowbutter or similar products either)

• Sesame Seeds (often found in burger buns or hummus)

• Fish, Shellfish

• Visible Egg (often found in Breakfast Sandwiches)
