Bring $90 cash or a check made payable to Lakeville South Yearbook. There will be a limited number of extra copies available. No yearbooks will be put aside or put on hold for any reason. Yearbooks will be sold first-come, first-served starting on Wednesday, May 29.

• This brunch is for students and not families.

• Senior Party - Join your classmates for one last blast at the Lakeville South Senior Party! There will be tons of fun and games, food, entertainment and PRIZES!! Thursday, June 6 - after your graduation ceremony - 10:30 p.m. – 3:30 a.m. at LSHS. Register here ASAP!!

On the final National Signing Day of the 2023-2024 school year, 27 student-athletes from Lakeville South signed their National Letters of Intent to continue their education and athletic careers. Teammates, siblings, parents and staff, gathered at the Lakeville South Performance Gym to witness the official commitments as these future graduates go on to represent the Cougars in seven different states across 13 colleges and universities. There were 13 different sport programs with a signee, showcasing the depth of Lakeville South’s athletic programs. Of the group, student-athletes are set to compete across all levels at Division I, II, III, and NAIA, while six student-athletes from football and five from track and field led team representation.

For the first time since 2016, Lakeville South Girls Track and Field are the South Suburban Conference Champions! It was truly a TEAM effort. While not winning a single event isn’t usually a recipe for winning in the “traditionally scored” conference meet (only top 8 places score), our girls were able to score 139 points and hold off Prior Lake (116 points) despite them winning 7 of the 18 contested events. Way to go Cougars!!

• Softball, Tennis and Adaptive Softball have all closed out their seasons. Good luck to Baseball, Golf, Lacrosse, Volleyball and Track teams as they enter section play.

Congratulations to Mr. Carlson, social studies teacher, on being receiving BestPrep's Educator of Excellence award! Mr. Carlson was one of 16 educators who received this award for his outstanding efforts and service. He was showcased during BestPrep's annual luncheon with other service award winners from businesses and education institutes all over the Twin Cities and throughout Minnesota. WANTED: High schoolers/college students that are in need of volunteer hours for our 2nd week of Camp Invention (June 17 - 21 with no camp June 19.) Camp Invention is A STEM Summer Camp Program for Grades K-6 that turns curious kids into innovative thinkers. It is a great leadership experience.
