AAPAC Community of Practice

In this Community of Practice we will learn strategies that will expand opportunities for the community to be involved in conversations about the district budget and build an understanding of SFUSD’s equity focus for allocating resources to support the success of each and every student.

AAPAC Community of Practice

Early arrival at 5:15 is suggested. Parking is available in the upper lot on Oakdale & Lane. We will be in the auditorium. Childcare and Dinner will be provided. We look forward to seeing you!

A regular on the New York Times bestseller list and a Salon.com Editor-at-Large, D. Watkins has authored several acclaimed titles, including The Cook Up, The Beast Side, and Black Boy Smile: A Memoir in Moments. D. will be joined by celebrated photographer Devin Allen and Kondwani Fidel, a poet who centers community in his work. This workshop is best suited for middle school and high school age youth and older.
