RCES June Summer Camp 😎

RCES will be hosting another fabulous June Summer Camp for the RCES students. This year our June sessions will run June 3rd- June 14th. Please click here for registration and camp information. Academic sessions will also run from June 3rd-June 14th.

Reed-Custer Art Show 👩‍🎨

This year, RCES will join RCMS and RCHS to showcase the amazing art created by the RCES students in K-5th Grade! Artwork will be displayed at Fossil Ridge Library from April 29th to May 4th. Click here for a video explaining the art show.

RCES Book Blast!

Thank you to all of our RCES families that supported this event! The books were delivered today! Everyone has at least one book for summer reading! Enjoy!

Learning is "fin" tastic at RCES! 🐠

We will be focusing the five themes of citizenship this month-

1. Honesty is the basic theme of good citizenship. A person must be honest with others, and with himself or herself, in order to be a good citizen.
2. Compassion is the emotion of caring for people and for other living things. Compassion gives a person an emotional bond with his or her world.
3. Respect is similar to compassion but different in some ways. An important aspect of respect is self-respect, whereas compassion is directed toward others. Respect is also directed toward inanimate things or ideas as well as toward people. For example, people should have respect for laws.
4. Out of honesty, compassion, and respect comes Responsibility, which includes both private, personal responsibility and public responsibility. Individuals and groups have responsibilities. Responsibility is about action, and it includes much of what people think of as good citizenship. The main responsibilities of students is to learn. They must educate themselves so that they can live up to their full potential.
5. Finally, the theme of Courage is important to good citizenship. Human beings are capable of moving beyond mere goodness toward greatness.

Due to the increase in enrollment, our cafeteria will be closed for lunch visits. Please remember that we will return to our regular breakfast and lunch rates this year.

Breakfast at RCES: (Breakfast begins on Monday, August 21st)

Cost: $1.50 for a full-pay student.

Breakfast is served each day at 8:20 in the cafeteria at RCES.

Please inform the classroom teacher if you do not want your child to eat breakfast.

Cost: $2.50 for a full-pay student
