A metaphor to help parent's understand new technology (and how we can help!)
We understand what a daunting task keeping up with social media can be but it is imperative to the mental well being of our children. We hope that providing information in our newsletter and offering parent nights such as Screenagers is helpful in equipping you with "safety vests and swimming lessons" for your children.
Supporting Your Child’s Journey After an Autism Diagnosis (School Age Years)
In this session, we will explore practical strategies and valuable insights to help you navigate this new journey with confidence and compassion. From understanding your child's unique strengths and challenges to accessing support networks and resources, we will provide empowering guidance to foster a nurturing environment at home and beyond. Embracing a neuroaffirming approach, we will highlight the importance of celebrating neurodiversity and promoting acceptance while equipping you with the tools to advocate for your child's needs effectively. Whether you're seeking guidance on communication strategies, educational accommodations, or emotional support, this series aims to empower you with knowledge and support as you embark on this transformative path with your child.
