Principal's Message
Happy Friday Hawk Families!
I hope everyone had a Happy Halloween. I know that I saw a lot of our students as I was walking around with my family. It was good to see our kids in the community.
Reminder that Tuesday is Election Day...and schools will be closed. Enjoy the day off!
Thank You to our students who participated in the Red Ribbon Week activities. While the dress up days were fun, the reminders about making healthy choices regarding harmful substances was the main goal. While we had conversations around what it means to make healthy choices, please continue to talk to you students as this is more that than a one week a year conversation to be had.
I want to say, "You all were awesome!" to all of the musical participants. Whether you were a performer, behind the scenes helper, parent volunteer, or musical director...the show was GREAT! All the work you put in paid off! Congratulations on 5 awesome performances!
Finally, Congratulations to our Students of the Month for October. Thank You for demonstrating Respectful & Responsible behaviors! And, Thank You for your involvement in making HMS a great place to be! (Student list below)
Have a great weekend!
See you on Monday!
This is your day!
This is your year!
This is your opportunity!
Take advantage of it.
We won't do it FOR you, but...
We will do it WITH you!
GO HAWKS!
