BlackBoard-Parent Communication
Parents,
We were very excited to welcome back our titans to school today!
Now that we have started back to school, we wanted to make you aware that in a few minutes you will be receiving an email with login information for TBP’s new mobile app by Blackboard.
In addition to providing you many types of information about TBP in your preferred language, after you log in, this app will allow you to have real-time communication with your child’s teacher(s). To learn more about this tool, called Blackboard Reach, the following is an overview video which covers some of the highlight of this exciting communications tool: https://youtu.be/_QzmzsjVQO8
So that you don’t miss a single message, if you haven’t done so yet, please download the TBP Mobile App at https://trinitybasin.parentlink.net/smartlink/
Once downloaded to your mobile device, you can use the login credentials emailed to you to log into the Family Access tool. Alternatively, if you use the same email account with TBP as you use with Google, Facebook, or Apple, you can also login using your Google, Facebook or Apple credentials.
If you do not receive a login email and cannot login with Google, Facebook, or Apple, your campus will be able to provide you with a printout of your login information later this week.
As a district, we will be going through a bit of an “onboarding” phase as the semester begins as both parents and faculty sign on to these amazing new communication tools. Thus, we ask for your patience as we work through the transitional phase at the start of the semester.
If you have questions or need support, please contact helpdesk@trinitybasin.net for assistance.

A little glimpse into this week......
Attendance
In Texas, students who are enrolled in a public school are
required to attend school unless otherwise exempted by
law. Law states students must be present 90 percent of the
school year to receive credit for the grade. Students who
are in attendance for fewer than 90 percent of the days the
class is offered shall not be given credit for the class.
We ask that school excuses be turn in the day student is back at campus.
Excessive absences can result in truancy and withdrawal from TBP.
Early dismissal also affect student performance and achievement. Therefore, students with excessive early dismissals will be referred to the Attendance Committee to determine appropriate actions to ensure student success.
