Bulldog Blast

Note From Principal Pautler
Greetings Bulldogs ~
It was so good to see so many familiar faces this past week during our schedule walk-around times. Hopefully, you found everything you needed during your time on campus and that you were able to get any complications with your schedule figured out. As we inch closer and closer to the start of school - I want to point out one AMAZING fact.. We have a VERY large incoming class of freshmen. Currently, we're just a little over 800 students in that class which is as big a class as we've had in the Freshman Academy since we added the other two high schools. Things are growing on the east side of town!! What a GREAT problem to have. Parents of freshman - the admin team is meeting daily to make sure our procedures work with a class that size. Should we need to make any procedural tweaks - we'll get that information out to you before the first day of school.
Speaking of the first day of school, next Thursday the 15th is the big day! It will be so nice to have the hallways full again as students come back on campus. This week as a faculty - we have talked about my personal leadership goals for Memorial HS. We focused on a few specific words that I would like to share with you now.
Believe - I want our faculty and staff to believe that they are a part of the most AMAZING high school in the State of Oklahoma! We will strive to make sure that our students BELIEVE in themselves and that they can achieve at high levels in all their classes and activities!
Belong - Students need to feel like they are a part of something bigger than themselves. At Memorial, we want our students to know that they matter. We will all strive to make sure that they know they BELONG to our Bulldog family!
Sacrifice - Achieving at high levels takes sacrifice and it means not quitting on yourself when your environment becomes challenging. It means putting forth a full effort into the activities you're a part of - even when the weather is hot/cold - or the competition is tough. To SACRIFICE just a little to better yourself affords you opportunity in the future!
And if you BELIEVE, BELONG, AND SACRIFICE -- you leave your LEGACY...
Legacy - This school is important to this town! So many of you have walked our hallways and left your LEGACY through your years at EMHS. We want our students to know that same pride many of you feel when you drive by on 15th street or see our accomplishments in the news!
As you can imagine - this year is going to be INCREDIBLE!! We'll have our ups and downs. There will be challenges along the way - no doubt. I can tell you - we're ready! We're ready to make 24/25 one that we will remember. For those of you with incoming freshman - hold on as this is a wild ride. For those of you with seniors this year - enjoy those moments of "lasts"....
We'll see our students this next Thursday - at the most AMAZING high school in the State of Oklahoma - where we Believe, Belong, and Sacrifice and create a Legacy!! Go Dogs!!

Click on either picture to take you to the MPO sales page... As always - you can shop with MPO at www.edmondmpo.org/shop.

ATTENTION CLASS OF 2025
Attention Seniors and Parents of Seniors -- please be sure to join the Senior Class Remind by texting @emhs25 to 81010. And be on the lookout for a link to order the official EMHS 2025 Senior Class shirts and sweatshirts on August 1. An email and remind message will be sent out on or around that date with a link to order shirts, as well as a list of important senior dates.
