School Wide Information
Important Dates- Thank you to all veterans, past and present, for your service to our country. In recognition of this important day, we'd like to remind everyone that school will be closed on Monday, November 11.
November is National Gratitude Month- At Creekside Education Center we’re celebrating with special activities and inviting students and families to join our 21-Day Happiness Challenge to build lasting gratitude habits. Try one of these daily:
✅Three Gratitudes: Note 3 things you’re thankful for.
✅Journaling: Write about one positive experience.
✅Fun Fifteen: Exercise for 15 minutes.
✅Mindfulness: Take 2 minutes to breathe and focus.
✅Acts of Kindness: Send a daily thank-you note.
Embracing these habits helps us express gratitude and build a resilient mindset for academic and social challenges. 🍂
Care Solace- IUSD has partnered with Care Solace to offer free, confidential service to connect students to mental health providers and substance abuse treatment matched to their needs-regardless of insurance. Click HERE for more info and the QR code.

Parent and Family Engagement- IUSD offers workshops and presentations through the Irvine Parent Education Program (IPEP) to provide support and assistance for the families of IUSD students throughout the school year.The goal of these workshops and presentations is to empower parents and guardians with the skills and strategies necessary to become active participants in their student's education.
The workshops cover various topics, such as:
Digital citizenship and social media
Understanding academic expectations
Cultural and community-based support

High School Updates
IVC Spotlight Week- Irvine Valley College (IVC) would like to send a special invite to all high school students to participate in IVC Virtual Spotlight Week. Spotlight Week is a virtual informational series tailored for our local high school students, parents, and guardians. Daily sessions will be offered virtually starting Monday, November 18th, from 4:30 pm to 5:30pm, covering a new college topic each day. You can attend one or all sessions.
