Face-to-Face High School Summer School

Courses are available to all high school students, including selected courses for rising 9th graders. Registration for the upcoming session closes on May 23, 2024. The closest school for summer school is Meadowcreek High School. More information and how to register can be found here.
Credit Recovery Opportunities for Spring Semester
Our next credit recovery session is scheduled for April 22 - 26
Students must see their assigned counselor to register for credit recovery
- The purpose of credit recovery is to provide high school students with an opportunity to recover credit for selected courses previously attempted and failed with a grade between a 50 – 69 %.
- The course is designed for students to complete with limited or NO assistance from a local school monitor or teacher.
- Students must attend in person after school from 2:40 pm - 5:40 pm on the designated days for the session.
- If they finish before the session ends, then they do not have to stay after school.
- Students may work on their course anytime. This means they can work on it at home, before school, during lunch, or anytime it is convenient.
- Again, they must report to the assigned room the week they have signed up for, until it is completed.

Educational Tips For Parents
Jumpstart your teen with a confidence boost
Sometimes students don't do their assignments because they lack confidence in their ability to do them. You can help your teen by staying positive. If your student is putting off doing a paper, say something like, "Writing can be hard, but I know you can do it. Why don't you tell me what you'd like to say?" Offer reminders of the hard things your teen has accomplished before, and be sure to notice and praise progress. Click here for more Educational Tips.
Parents of 10th Graders
If your student is 16 years old, NOW is a great time to get the meningitis (MCV4) booster shot for 11th grade. Appointments are available at the health department, or your student may see their own doctor. Update your immunization form 3231 before the fall rush and turn in a copy to Ms. Medina in the Parent Center (Room 8.237). This is a state requirement for 11th grade. Read more about the requirement here.
