Spotlight on Kindergarten
On May 9th and 10th, as part of the Kindergarten Social Studies unit on Community, our 8 Kindergarten classes headed out on a walking field trip to visit Bedford High School, the Bedford Police Station, the Bedford Fire Station, and the Bedford Public Library! While on the field trip, students heard from BHS students about the various clubs and programs offered, talked about the importance of having a fire safety plan and got to witness a firefighter in full gear, learned what happens when a 911 call comes into the police station, and got a special visit with Murphy the Turtle at the library! This field trip helps students understand the various important places that make up a community, as well as the interconnectedness of community members and locations.

Spring Concerts and Celebration of Learning
Dear Davis School Families,
Davis School musicians invite you to our Spring Concerts! We are so excited to showcase our skills in singing, movement, and playing instruments!
This year we are adding an opportunity for you to visit your child's classroom after their performance in our Spring Concerts. This will be approximately a half an hour for your child to show you some of the work they have been doing in their classroom. Once the performance is over, we will dismiss students back to the classroom and then a few minutes afterwards we will invite you to go to the classroom.
Please see below for the performance schedule. Please join us in the Davis School gymnasium. Information on concert attire is attached in the flyers below.
We hope to see you there!
Sincerely,
Miss Hannah and the Davis School musicians
