We hope that you are enjoying a great Thanksgiving break with friends and family!
Here are some reminders and appreciation for the week:
- Congratulations to our Sunfield PTA for achieving a $1250 grant from National PTA for their Healthy Minds program! We appreciate all that our PTA does to support our students and school.
- PTA Holiday Shop is coming on December 9-13 and they need volunteers to help with set up this week and assisting with student shopping next week. Please scroll down to the PTA section and sign up at the link provided. Thank you for your help!
- Teachers will be administering mid-year screeners in Reading and Math for all students in December. It is important that our Stallions are here every day so that we can celebrate the academic growth they have achieved this first semester. Parent reports will be sent home when the data has been collected.
- Attendance Incentive for December-Students with perfect attendance December 2-17 will have a special reward on December 18. We will continue to track class and grade level attendance for the month of December as well.
We are down to 14 instructional days until Christmas Break and they will be busy. Thank you for ensuring that your Stallion is here daily to learn until the break.
Have a great week!
Let's Go Stallions!

Lunch Guidelines and Expectations
As the year continues, please note that we encourage parents to allow students to eat with their peers when possible, saving lunch with students for special occasions.
The social skills and interactions that happen during lunch help students learn important social skills that are crucial to their developmental success.
Please note that students eating with families will be asked to eat on the stage area and families may not invite other friends to join them during lunch.
District policy prohibits any parents from dropping off meals in the front office from outside restaurants. This policy includes parents bringing food from a restaurant to drop off at the front desk.
If you are bringing a student a forgotten lunch box or dropping off lunch, please do so at least 30 minutes prior to student lunch times. We will call students down to get their lunches.
Our front office staff is usually very busy during lunch time and depending on the day, they may not be able to bring a lunch down to the cafeteria right at the start of student lunches.
Please note that for special campus events such as Grandparents' lunch and Thanksgiving Lunch we allow families to eat in the cafe and adjustments to lunch schedules are made in order to accommodate our increase in people using the cafe.
