Hello Sunfield Families!

We hope that you all had a wonderful weekend. It is hard to believe that the last week of school has arrived. This year has been filled with moments of joy, accomplishment, and yes, some tears. We have watched with pride as our Stallions set goals and worked hard to achieve them. They formed new friendships, read new books, and gained new knowledge.

Summer is the time for rest and having fun. We know it will go by quickly but enjoy every moment!

We look forward to new beginnings in the 2025-2026 school year as we welcome more students and families to our school community.

For our Stallions who are moving on to new schools, we send our best wishes with you. Be proud of who you are and what you can do. We hope that you will come back and see us one day!

Our campus will have summer hours from Monday-Thursday beginning May 27. We are closed on Fridays and holidays. Just a reminder to please complete online student registration to help us with planning.

We want to give a BIG thanks to our 2024-2025 PTA Board for all that they have done to support our school this year! We also want to give a HUGE shout out to our volunteers. You make the difference in our school community!

Congratulations to KINDERGARTEN for having 60% of their returning students complete registration for 2025-2026! They have won our grade level competition for a popcorn and extra recess treat this week!

Registration for next year continues for all students through the summer. Families can go to the new Hays Administration Support Center during the summer for assistance with registration.

• The Hays High Five program is a way for you to salute any Hays CISD employee who goes above and beyond what is expected. Whether you're a parent impressed with that special touch your child's teacher added to a moment, or you're a coworker who thinks the campus PEIMS clerk doesn't hear often enough about the great job she is doing - you can send a Hays High Five! Anyone can nominate any Hays CISD employee.

  • Supervisors, including the superintendent, will see your Hays High Five
    
    
  • The employee will get a thank you card and a nominal token of appreciation that lets everyone know he or she was given a Hays High Five

  • Employees who earn a Hays High Five are automatically entered into nomination for possible selection as the Hays High Five employee of the year

Dear Sunfield Families,

As the school year comes to a close, I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued support, partnership, and trust throughout this year. It has been a joy and a privilege to support your children as they grow, learn, and thrive here at Sunfield.

Your involvement and encouragement play a vital role in the success of our students, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a caring and engaged school community.

Looking ahead, we are excited for what the new school year will bring! I’m thrilled to share that we will be welcoming a second school counselor, Monica Cottrill (from Tom Green Elementary), to our Sunfield team.
