You are invited to come to DRES on Monday 8-28-23 at 6:30pm to learn more about what Title 1 is and means for our school and to participate in our first PTA meeting of the school year. The meeting will be held in our gymnasium. Doors will open at 6:15pm.

You are invited to fill out an application to see if you qualify for free or reduced price meals for your child. This needs to be redone every year. Please apply using this link: https://www.myschoolapps.com/

Join us for a family outing at the Mudcats Stadium on Thursday, August 31! Durant Road Elementary School families will come together for a special community outing. Our chorus will sing the National Anthem and we will get a visit from Muddy! Purchase your tickets below.

In order to continue to build community, we will have Saturday meet ups at different parks throughout the county. We'd love for you and your family to join us to meet one another and provide a time for the kids to play. Reminders and times will be sent out throughout the year. We have set a time for the first one and will communicate the other times going forward.

We are still collecting gently worn, new, and used shoes! The drop off box is in the underpass leading to the front door. Drop them off in the box!

Calling all Parents!

We are looking for Lunch Volunteers! DRES would love your help in the cafeteria at lunchtime!

Duties would include helping students open food items, reminding students to SOAR, and wiping down tables between classes. This is a great way to see your student at school and get to meet their classmates. We would love to have consistent volunteers who can make a commitment to a day and time every week for an entire quarter.
