Every month we will celebrate excellent student behavior and character traits. We had so many Top Tigers for April! Way to go!

Teacher Appreciation Week is quickly approaching, May 5-9!! The PTA needs your help celebrating all our wonderful teachers and staff at East. Monday is Cinco de Mayo, and we are asking for donations for the delicious potluck lunch we have planned. Click Here if you would like to volunteer to bring food. We will post each day as we celebrate on our Facebook page. You can send encouraging notes, flowers, gift cards, special treats, and gifts all week long.

Thank you so much for an amazing school year!! We can’t wait to start planning our calendar for 2025/2026. We would like any feedback from events that the PTA has hosted this year. Please message us on our Facebook page with any questions, ideas, or concerns for next year.

MAP Testing Reminder!

We’re approaching the final stretch of the school year, and MAP (Missouri Assessment Program) testing is about to begin!

Testing Schedule:

• May 1st – 4th Grade ELA Writing Prompt (All Day)

• May 5th–7th – 3rd & 4th Grade ELA and Math (All Day)

• May 8th – Make-up/Incomplete Testing (3rd & 4th Grades)

Help Your Child Succeed:

• Get a good night’s sleep.

• Arrive at school on time.

• Bring a water bottle

• Eat a healthy breakfast.

• Stay positive and encouraging!

It isn't too late to sign up for summer school but the deadline is May 9th! If you have a child who will coming to kindergarten next year they can attend summer school this summer and get a head start!

It is almost the end of the year. We would like all library books back by May 16th. If you cannot locate the book and need to pay for it, the price should be listed on the notice.

Has a teacher or staff member gone out of their way to help you and bring you joy? This is one way to acknowledge that good deed. Everyone is encouraged to complete our Staff Shoutouts for any district empoyee.
