Dear Primary Parents,

• Good luck to our families who are participating in the La Vernia Stock Show!

• Registration is now open for "New to LVISD" Kindergarten students for next year! See flyer below and please help us spread the word!

• Tonight is our 2nd grade Wax Museum! Please enter through the gym side doors. Arrive by 5:45/5:50 and event runs from 6-7. Bring your nickels! Our "characters" come to life when you drop a nickel into their bucket. The funds go to purchase a campus beautification project in the name of this year's 2nd graders.

Our school hours are 7:25-3:40. Our car line opens at 6:45am daily. Student attendance is taken at 9:30 am daily, please keep this in mind when making appointments. A student must be here at 9:30 am to be counted present for the day. A student may only miss 15 school days total for the year (excused or unexcused.)

LIBRARY LOOKS

• CONGRATULATIONS to all students who turned in their 600 minutes of reading for the SCHLITTERBAHN WAVES OF PAGES READING PROGRAM. They have earned a FREE ticket to Schlitterbahn Water Park in New Braunfels! WAY TO GO! We are very proud of you. Tickets will be delivered to students in April.
• We are looking forward to READ ACROSS AMERICA / SEUSS WEEK March 3-6! We will have Seuss Trivia and special prize giveaways. Let's join together to celebrate reading!
• Our LITERATI BOOK FAIR will be April 21-25! Once again we'll have extended after school hours for families who want to shop together. We look forward to seeing you there! Details will be sent home when the date nears.
