Algebra 1
Week 4
Monday (August 26th)
#111 Variables on Both Sides
Inequalities with Variables on Both Sides:
In this lesson, students will write and solve inequalities with variables on both sides for real-world situations.
- We will write and solve Inequalities with variables on both sides for real-world situations.
- I will explain what it means to be a solution to the inequality.
- "How can you determine whether an inequality with variables on both sides has a unique solution, no solution, or infinitely many solutions, and what steps do you take to simplify and compare the two sides of the inequality effectively?"
Mini-Quiz #3 Inequalities
Students will take a mini-quiz on solving inequalities, determining solutions to inequalities, and knowing when to flip the inequality sign.
Failed the Quiz?!?!
You got it now? Just stop by during tutorials to retake your quiz for full credit. My goal is for you to mastery every concept!

#112 Literal Equations
Literal Equations:
In this lesson, students will solve literal equations for a specified variable.
- We will solve literal equations for a specified variable.
- I will explain the inverse operations needed to solve a given literal equation.
- When given a literal equation involving multiple variables, how do you determine which variable to isolate first to make the equation simpler to solve? Provide a general strategy or approach.
