NEWS FROM DR. COOPER

Dear Families,

Thanks to everyone who joined us for Turkey BINGO last night at Millard South High School! We had a great time and hope you did too.

Our next Family Night is coming up in two weeks on December 6th and we'll be painting ornaments with It's Yours Pottery. Pre-orders have closed but we will have extra ornaments available to purchase and hot cocoa for all.

Next week there will be no school Wednesday, November 27th-Friday November 29th for Thanksgiving break. We hope you have a wonderful time with your families.

In previous weeks, we have shared surface-level information about Common Area Expectations. Over the next few weeks, we will dive deeper into each specific area to share what the expectations are here at Neihardt. Our first area of focus: Hallway Expectations! At Neihardt, we ask all students to walk quietly and calmly in the hallways to ensure there is minimal disruption to learning in the classrooms they pass by. Even if we see a friend or sibling, we ask that we share a silent wave or smile for a greeting.

Thank you to Mr. Lingenfelter, father of Oliver & Eliza who volunteered as our Watch D.O.G.S. this week. He spent his time in classrooms, PE, music class, eating lunch with his students and recess. We appreciate you coming in and volunteering.
