Yearbooks are on sale until Friday, March 22nd. Yearbooks are $25 each and can be purchased online or turn in the order form that your child has received (cash only, no checks please). If you have any questions, please email kdixon@tvusd.us. Thank you!

TES library had some great moments in the month of February.

Students received Digital Citizenship lessons about Healthy Habits online and Camera Safety. We also celebrated Black History Month with outstanding books on display for students to check out.

Third, Fourth and Fifth graders finished the California Young Readers Nominees for Picture Books for Older Readers and were able to vote on their favorite book, and all grade levels started the Primary Books Nominated that will end in an art contest in March.

TK and Kinder classes were able to create art using scribbles with Diane Alber books and asked the question, “If I owned a restaurant, what kind of foods would I serve?” using chef books to guide them.

First and Second Grade learned About Resisting Peer Pressure with some great stories and were able to watch the Penguin Live Cam of the San Diego Zoo to go with their studies of penguins.

All students can participate in Doodle for Google ( https://doodles.google.com/d4g/ )contest, permission slips and art are due by March 14th.

Transitional Kindergarten (TK)
