The MMES Buzz
News from Manchester Memorial Elementary School!
November 15, 2024
Principal's Note
Dear MMES Families,
We had an amazing week at school! It is so great to see our academic and exploratory programming in full swing. The MMPTO enrichment activities have been so amazing at bringing learning to life! Thank you all for your support in so many ways! We have many more fun ideas that we are working on for the kids this year!
In a few short weeks it will be time for parent-teacher conferences which is a very important part of the learning process for our students. Be sure to schedule a time to ask questions about your child's social and academic development and also take advantage of this opportunity to share your perspective on what works best for your child. We value your input and partnership!
Have a great weekend.
Best,
John

What's the Buzz with Ms. X?
Hi Hornets! We know that the holidays can be added financial pressure. I wanted to provide some information on a local support for the upcoming holidays. Action Inc., Wellspring House, and Pathways for Kids have reached out to MMES to remind families of the Cape Ann Kids Holiday Fund. The Cape Ann Kids Holiday Fund allows families to shop in their holiday store for gifts. This is open to families living in Gloucester, Rockport, Manchester, Essex and Ipswich. Applications must be in by December 1st and can be found at this link! Please reach out to me with any questions, concerns, or if you I can help with the process. Any inquiries will be handled with care and confidentially.
