Attendance Matters
Hello Trojan Families,
As we start a new week, we want to highlight the importance of regular school attendance. Being present not only boosts academic success but also helps your child develop good habits, responsibility, and social skills.
Consistent attendance leads to better understanding of lessons, improved performance, and meaningful interactions with peers and teachers. It also supports emotional well-being by providing a sense of stability and belonging.
While we recognize that absences are sometimes necessary, please prioritize school attendance when possible and communicate any issues with us. Your support is vital for your child's success.
Thank you!
Michael Abraham
Principal
See Attendance Policy below
**Special Note**
- Student drivers, please ensure you have your parking tag by August 26th. Starting on that date, we will begin issuing violation tickets for those without tags. Thank you for your cooperation!
- For the safety of all students, please do not stop on Highway 5 to drop off or pick up your child. Instead, use Entrance 1 or Entrance 3 parking lots for these activities. Your cooperation helps us ensure a safer environment for everyone.
- By the end of the week, freshmen and new students will have IDs. We starting taking ID pictures on last Friday.
Digital Hall Pass
- Students will use a digital hall pass (myHomework) when leaving a classroom.
- Students will follow their teachers' classroom procedures for leaving class.
- This will increase our safety measures and give us data on loss instructional time.
Transportation Note
Families with transportation questions can email bushelp@rhmail.org
Our old app isn’t supported anymore for buses. We are now using MyRide K-12
.
Here’s the info about everything transportation related:
**Personal Electronic Device Classroom Procedure**
Upon entering the classroom, power off or silence device.
Place device in classroom device holder.
Students will retrieve their phones at the end of class, following the teacher’s instructions.

First FAFSA Workshop
This is an introductory workshop for the FAFSA, the Federal Application for Student Aid. The FAFSA is intended for seniors who are planning to attend a 2 year or 4 year college after they graduate high school and can provide free money for college. We will talk about the preliminary steps to starting the FAFSA as well as the cost of college education and scholarships available.
Currently, the FAFSA will open for our seniors in December. This initial workshop will walk you through creating a parent ID, a student ID, and talk through changes to the FAFSA. This workshop will be helpful if you have questions in regards to how the FAFSA works and if you need help creating your account. You will not complete the FAFSA application as it is not open yet, however, you will have created the ID you need to access the application in December. We will have our second FAFSA workshop in December.
