First and Second Grade Electives!

In Lego Robotics we learned about building structures and types of transportation. We discussed taking turns in the group and working as a team. We are working on creating a house and a car that moves!

Students in the sculpture elective will learn to create art work and view art work in 3 dimensions. They will use a variety of materials such as paper mache and clay.

The ninja warrior elective is meant to allow students the opportunity to test themselves on a variety of obstacles that may be a brand new experience. Each group is encouraged to work together to conquer and analyze each obstacle in order to complete it the most efficient way.

Students have been learning the rules to what makes a good photo, such as line, shape, form texture, color etc... Keeping these elements in mind, students have been taking pictures of inanimate objects and processing them through filters to turn their photos into works of art.
