Note From Mr. Alexander
Subject: Important Updates: ISAT and ISIP Testing, Lost and Found Reminder
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we gear up for the next phase of assessments, I wanted to remind you of some important upcoming events and encourage your support in ensuring our students are prepared and well-rested for their tests.
ISAT Testing (3rd - 5th Grade): Over the next couple of weeks, our students in 3rd through 5th grade will be undertaking the Idaho Standard Achievement Tests (ISAT) in Math and English Language Arts (ELA). These tests are crucial for evaluating our students' progress and ensuring they are meeting the necessary academic standards.
ISIP Testing (Kindergarten - 3rd Grade): Additionally, our younger learners in Kindergarten through 3rd grade will be participating in the ISIP Math and Reading tests. These assessments help us understand their foundational skills and areas where they may need additional support.
It's imperative that our students arrive at school well-rested and nourished during testing days. Adequate sleep and a healthy breakfast can significantly impact their focus and performance. Please prioritize a consistent bedtime routine and provide nutritious meals to support your child's success during this period.
On another note, our lost and found is overflowing with clothing items. We kindly ask that you take a moment to check for any lost belongings that may belong to your child. Unclaimed items will be donated after May 24th, so please ensure you retrieve any missing articles before then.
Thank you for your ongoing support in our students' academic journey. Together, we can help them thrive and succeed.
Sincerely,
Greg Alexander
Principal, Carberry Elementary School
