Week of 11/4/2024
A Message From Mr. Johnson:
Hello Sandhill Families,
Here are some important updates as we head into next week:
Our November Golden Stella Assembly is this Monday! We’ll be celebrating the classes with the best behavior in each area of our school. We’re so proud of the great choices our students are making every day!
We are thrilled to welcome author Aaron Reynolds to Sandhill on November 13th! Aaron is the author of beloved children’s books like Creepy Carrots! and Nerdy Birdy. He’s known for his fun storytelling style and will be sharing about his writing process, his love for books, and the importance of creativity. It’s sure to be an inspiring visit for our students!
The weather is changing, and as many of you know, it’s always a bit colder on our hill due to the wind. Please make sure your children are coming to school with jackets, hats, and gloves to stay warm during recess and outdoor activities. And as winter approaches, boots and snow gear will be needed soon. Sorry to bring up the “S-word” (Snow)!
Thank you for your support, and as always, please reach out with any questions!
Have a great long weekend!
Bob/Mr. Johnson
