Happy Spring Break
Our spring break is set for next week. It is amazing to think that we are coming up on the end of the school year. When we return on April 8th, we will have two months left (42 days). While the school year has moved by quickly, achievement across all areas of learning (academic, athletics, the arts, CTE, and others) has been impressive. Please take this time to rest and rejuvenate so that you are ready for the sprint to June 5th!
Heroes of Vista
We are proud of our 2024 Heroes of Vista. Thank you for your unwavering commitment to the students and families of Vista Unified.

Measure LL Update
We are truly grateful to the taxpayers of Vista for supporting more than 15 Measure LL construction projects across the district these past five years. We have put together two new videos that share our recent progress including our recent opening of three new facilities which are now in use for our students.
Check out what VMMS, RBV, and VHS Students have to say about the new facilities.

Community Schools Update
Our 14 VUSD Community Schools are continuing to enhance their school systems to organize both in- and out-of-school resources and supports. Recently, school teams completed an annual self-assessment to determine their strengths and areas for opportunity. This activity will lead to next steps to increase student and family engagement, create a culture of belonging, enrich learning opportunities, and coordinate services that address the needs of students and families. Our upcoming Community School Coalition meeting will provide an opportunity for our Vista community partners to learn more about the progress at our schools. The coalition meeting is scheduled for May 20th at Vista High School from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a walking tour of the new facilities at VHS.
