Reminder: Check the Lost and Found!
As we near the end of the school year, please remind your child to check the lost and found for any missing items. All unclaimed clothing, shoes, and other belongings will be donated to charity after the last day of school.
End-of-Year Reminder for Families
As we head into the final week of school, please remember that learning is still happening each day. It's important that students continue to get a good night's sleep and come to school ready to learn.
Also, please send your child with a backpack or bag each day next week, as students will begin bringing home their supplies and personal items.
Fun Run is This Thursday!
Our annual Fun Run is happening this Thursday! Buses will transport students to the fields on Brommer Road around 8:30 AM, and the run will begin at 9:00 AM.
The route will take students from Brommer Road back to the elementary school, finishing at the football field.
Parents are welcome to join us! You may meet us at the fields to participate in the run. If you've completed a background check with the school, you're also welcome to ride the bus with students to the starting point.

Cuteness while making paper mache in Mrs. James 3rd grade class.
Mrs. Preeo’s kindergarten had a CVC review day. We completed 10 challenges, all of which reviewed CVC words through activities such as reading simple sentences, cutting and gluing pictures, reading short stories, identifying rhyming words, and coloring word families.
We ended the day with an ice cream party!
Middle School Highlights
We had a fun week celebrating student growth and accomplishments! Ms. Koch, Mrs. O’Rourke and Mr. Clouse awarded tickets to students who showed growth on their SBA and STAR assessments. Students were able to redeem a ticket each day for their choice of ice cream bar or popsicle after lunch. Given this week’s warm weather, these have been an absolute hit.
For the end-of-year awards, we changed it up a bit this year. We had a joint middle school and high school awards ceremony, with the highlight being the senior honor chords. Our middle school students were impressed with the number of opportunities for earning graduation recognition, and are already planning to earn chords for themselves.
Please join us for our Eighth Grade Promotion Ceremony on Thursday, June 12, at 6 pm in the High School gym. We are so excited to be moving this group of wonderful students up to high school.
