Thank You to Everyone Who Came to Pre-K/Kdgn Info Night!
It was wonderful to see so many families last night at Kindergarten Information Night! Our TSD Elementary Principals cannot wait to welcome you into our buildings next fall!
TSD Activist Week Activities Begin Tonight!
Next week is Troy High's Activist Week, and this year, the students have chosen to support the Lichykaki Family. Two years ago, the family courageously left behind their home, loved ones, and belongings in Ukraine to build a safer and more secure future for their sons, Dima (a recent Troy High graduate) and Denys (currently a student at Smith). Tragically, the family recently experienced the unexpected loss of their father, Oleksii.
In recognition of the Lichykaki Family’s resilience and their cherished role in the Troy community, Troy High students are dedicating this year's Activist Week to supporting them.
While a week of fun and meaningful events is planned for students, you can also contribute by dining out on the nights listed in the graphic above. Be sure to mention that you're there to support the Troy High fundraiser.
Troy High Orchestra Director Named MASTA Teacher of the Year!
On Friday, January 24, at the Michigan Music Conference, Troy High Orchestra Director Ms. Wendy Stuart was honored as Teacher of the Year by the Michigan Chapter of the American String Teachers Association! This prestigious award, voted on by string teachers from across the state, recognizes educators who demonstrate excellence in teaching through performance, achieve success in areas beyond performance, and provide outstanding service to string education in Michigan.
Congratulations to Ms. Stuart on this incredible achievement!
The district and many of our staff members have worked diligently to launch new websites across the district. Although our initial launch was not what we'd hoped, our team has dedicated the past six months to improving our sites. Our goal has been to create consistent, user-friendly websites for our families, ensuring that our families can easily find everything they need when transitioning from one building to the next. We have focused on establishing uniform menu locations, standardized wording, and cohesive designs across all of our schools. We would now like to hear what you think so that we can continue to improve the district and school websites for all.
