We are thrilled to share the exciting news that Nigel Youmans, a junior at Arabia Mountain High School, was selected as one of the 2024 HOPE Tee Shot honorees at the prestigious TOUR Championship. Nigel had the honor of hitting the opening tee shot on Thursday, August 29, just moments before the PGA TOUR’s top 30 players begin their competition.

Nigel’s journey with First Tee – Metro Atlanta began in 2021, and through dedication and perseverance, he has not only honed his golf skills but also exemplified the core values that make a true leader. At Arabia Mountain High School, the Environment as an Integrated Context (EIC) curriculum offers students a unique and immersive learning experience. Through this dynamic program, students engage in hands-on, experiential learning focused on ecosystems and environmental sustainability.
