Core Energy and the Energy Leadership Index
Are you interested in raising your employees, managers, or supervisors awareness of their emotional intelligence (EI)? Research states the higher the EI, the more success there is to connect with others easily. How about your own EI?
Amy Jacques is a COR.E Leadership Dynamics Specialist, a Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner and a professional life coach.
Are you looking for professional development or coaching for yourself or your staff? Amy is qualified to give the Energy Leadership Index and to continue coaching your staff member to work on emotional intelligence and teach about Core Energy. They will learn how to shift from the energy that does not serve them to a more constructive, productive energy, plus explore how to improve connections and relationships with others. Continue to read on to learn more.
The importance of having emotional intelligence (EI) when leading...
Research shows that the easier someone can connect with others, the higher productivity may be. Viriyavid V, and Jiamsuchon S, wrote "The Relationship between Emotional Quotient (EQ) and Leadership Effectiveness" and stated that "leadership directly influences the extent to which HR functions and are effective in helping to increase the EI of organizational members. The high EI level helps identify talents, delegate roles accordingly, and resolve conflict amicably." Click on the link below to learn more about how EQ can impact success in leadership, sales, supervising, etc.
Laurie Sudbrink, the author of Leading With GRIT, endorsed by Don Miguel Ruiz (The Four Agreements) and Ken Blanchard (The One Minute Manager) says:
Having high EI can also help you better manage stress, build trust, maintain healthier relationships, improve your performance, and make you more satisfied with the work you do.
This is because it doesn’t just make you more aware of yourself and how your actions impact others; it also makes you more aware of the emotions of others and how those emotions can affect their attitudes, behaviors, and performance.
In the workplace, emotional intelligence can help us:
- Build trust
- Coach and motivate others
- Create a culture of collaboration
- Improve communication
- Increase accountability
- Reduce stress
- Resolve conflicts
Emotional intelligence is best illustrated with this quadrant:

The Energy Leadership Index (ELI) Assessment is a seventy-question assessment that is not a personality test but an attitudinal assessment. It takes about 20 minutes, and the clients' results are sent to their coach. The ELI may only be distributed and debriefed by a coach that is also an Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner. The coach gathers the results and organizes a debrief summary to help clients understand their results.
The results will highlight areas to work on, and the client and coach can begin. This is helpful for people who continue coaching; it will serve as a guide during the leadership coaching process.
The Energy Leadership debrief explains core energy and how it impacts a person's ability to make decisions, problem-solve, work and connect with others (and so much more). It explains the seven energy levels and shares where they stand in this energy world.
Awareness of your core energy is how someone starts to become emotionally aware and grow emotional intelligence.
The ELI is a great place to start EI awareness.
Aspire works with small companies and indiviudals. Many people venture out on their own to take the ELI and then participate in coaching (for job advancement, after a poor review at work, etc).
The ELI debrief is not a coaching session but a debriefing and education session. Coaching is much different than debriefing.
The Energy Leadership Index is $330 per person as a stand-alone.
The Energy Leadership Index with the nine sessions is $1191 per person. This is a great investment for professional growth for yourself or an employee you value but could use some support.
Aspire can arrange that first informational meeting via Zoom so all can attend that session together. After that meeting, your staff will receive a link to take the Index at home or work. Then Amy can meet individually for the debrief, or she can hold a group debrief without using any specific client results (a more generic debrief, still powerful). If you are looking for Aspire to service more than 4 individuals, contact Amy for a quote; if you would like a group debrief let Amy know, so it reflects in the quote.
