Invite a Co-Teacher
One of the first things you may be asked to do is to add a Co-Teacher to your class. You may be collaborating with a coworker, or you may be sharing your classroom with your building administrator or coach, either way check out the quick tip for adding a Co-Teacher to your course.

Set Up Guardians in Google Classroom
You can set up Guardians in Google Classroom that would allow for parents to get an emailed summary for how their child is doing in your class on Google Classroom. This would be extremely handy for missing assignments or progress on grades. You can also set up a parent email list using this feature.

At the end of the year!
Make sure you're closing down your course responsibly at the end of the year. Don't leave anything ungraded or not returned to students. Then make sure to take students out of the course to clean up their dashboards for next year.
Final tip: Don't waste that course you spent so long creating. Rename and save it on your dashboard or archive it, but pull the resources you've created by reusing posts and assignments!
