VISION SCREENING
On October 22 beginning at 8AM, Oregon Lions Sight and Hearing Foundation will visit Colton Elementary for our annual vision screening. OLSHF is a non-profit organization which, in partnership with local Lions clubs, provides vision screenings to over 80% of Oregon school districts. Students' results will be sent home within a few weeks of the screening, along with a list of resources for eye exams close to our community.

FRIENDLY REMINDER FROM THE TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT
Fall is here and as the days continue to get shorter and mornings darker, it is helpful for parents to have some type of light with students at their bus stop. Reflective patches on coats help too. This makes it easier for the school bus drivers and other drivers to see them. Let’s be safe and visible this winter.
Thank you, from the Colton School District Transportation staff.
