2. Students must be able to commit to at least one day a week from 3 to 5 p.m. for the pre-internship sessions.

2024 Millage Renewal (Vote on Nov. 5)
The November 5 proposal has two parts:
1. RENEWAL of the 18 mill NON-HOMESTEAD operating millage.
2. RENEWAL of the HOLD HARMLESS millage.
This keeps taxes at their current operating rates for the Non-Homestead and Hold Harmless millage.
Together these generate approximately $42.5 million annually which is 22% of the school district’s operating budget. Learn more on our website at https://www.troy.k12.mi.us/about-us/millage-renewal

HS Students Register to Vote
Public Act 258, through a partnership with the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) and the Michigan Secretary of State, allows high school students the opportunity to preregister, or register, to vote within their public high school. This act ensures that individuals who are at least 16 years of age, but less than 18 years of age, and eligible to preregister to vote, are informed of the opportunity. We are excited that our high schools will provide this opportunity to our students. We look forward to engaging our students and elevating their voices. #Vote
