The OPA Board of Directors selected two new members to the Board during the June 28, 2024, regular Board meeting.
Mrs. Betsy Freiler is a seasoned financial professional and dedicated community volunteer with extensive experience in accounting, project management, and customer service. Many families may recognize her from her years of service with the Honour Society. Member Freiler will serve as Board Treasurer.
Mr. Michael Delune, J.D. brings extensive experience as an attorney in the banking industry with expertise in governance structure, strategic planning, regulatory compliance, and budgeting. Member Delune will serve as Board Secretary.

Welcome New Staff!
OPA is happy to welcome these new staff members this year! During the summer they attended New Staff Orientation and learned all about our traditions and what makes OPA, OPA! We know they will fit right in and contribute to making OPA the special place that it is. If you see one of these new staff members, please be sure to welcome them to the community!
Every Day Matters
- Each day's lessons build on the previous day's work. Missing even a day can make it difficult for your child to catch up.
- Studies show that students who attend school regularly are more likely to perform well academically. Consistent attendance is key to mastering the skills and knowledge needed for future success.
School Meals
No weekly form needed!
School lunches are getting good reviews! Our new food vendor, Revolution Foods, is getting two thumbs up from our students - and the best part? This year families will no longer need to submit weekly forms for school lunches.

Multiple Intelligences (MI's) are the foundation of OPA's philosophy and instructional approach. It states that each of us possesses eight intelligences that characterize the way we learn. This approach allows for differentiated instruction in the classroom allowing for students to learn, comprehend, and retain information due to receiving instruction in a variety of methodologies.
The use of MI's can be found in all OPA classrooms at every grade level. To learn more about the Theory of Multiple Intelligences, visit our website: https://www.opaschools.org/apps/pages/Multiple-Intelligences
