PTA REFLECTIONS ARTS CONTEST - NC STATE FINALISTS!
Out of our five Noble first place winners that moved on to state, TWO students are finalists in the NC State Reflections contest. Congratulations to Claire Haley, 6th grade, Photography “Every Piece Matters” and Blaise Rhodes, 6th grade, Film Production “The Imperfect Dog”!
Their original artwork will compete in the NC PTA’S final round of judging for the opportunity to move on to the National Reflections contest. Stay tuned for the state results. Good luck Claire and Blaise!
STOCK THE TEACHER BREAKROOM - MARCH 6TH
How lucky are we to have such a great group of teachers & staff? Let's show our appreciation with some breakroom treats! Each month, the hospitality committee of the PTA will arrange a day to stock the breakroom with goodies to help support the school day. Parents and students are welcome to drop off items in the front office. Sign up below for Thursday, March 6th - only 2 opportunities left this school year!
SCHOOL STORE OPEN - MARCH 6TH
The school store will be open Thursday, 3/6 from 7:45 - 8:30am. Cash and credit cards are accepted. You can always shop online 24/7. Online orders will be delivered to your child's homeroom.
NOBLE BOOK CLUB MEETING - MARCH 6TH
'Fourteen Talks by Age Fourteen' by Michelle Icard is a guide for parents and caregivers to help teens navigate important life discussions. It offers practical tips and tools to build effective communication and create a strong relationship with your teenager.
Join us for an an informal, come-as-you-are, peer group that is for Noble parents/guardians by Noble parents/guardians. There is no commitment. Come to the meetings you can attend!
We will meet Thursday, March 6th 8:30 - 9:30am in the Noble Conference Room. We will be discussing Chapter 12 - Talking About Hard Work and Chapter 13 - Talking about Money.

MO WANTS TO KNOW - STATE SUPERINTENDENT LISTEN & LEARN - MARCH 31
Superintendent Mo Green is building a comprehensive strategic plan for NC public schools, and he values your input! Together with his team at NC Dept. of Public Instruction, Superintendent Green is hosting "Mo Wants to Know" listening & learning sessions with community stakeholders. All parents, students, educators, school staff, public officials & community members are invited to attend the free, public events held in each of the state's eight regions.
Your input will play a crucial role in building a comprehensive strategic plan for the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) and the State Board of Education, with clear goals, initiatives and accountability measures aimed at making our public schools the best in the nation.
The listen and learn session will be held on March 31, from 6-7:30 pm, at Blair Elementary School. If you'd like to attend, please use the link below to reserve your spot.
NOBLE EAGLE WATCH
EagleWatch is a family and community engagement educational initiative. We invite dads/moms, aunts/uncles, grandparents, too!
The goals of the EagleWATCH program are:
1) To provide positive adult role models for students, demonstrating by their presence that education is important.
2) To provide extra sets of eyes and ears to enhance school security and reduce bullying.
Sign up for an hour time slot. Weekly slots are encouraged, but not mandatory. Help when you can!
Administration has indicated a greater need for EagleWatch members during the lunch block hours beginning at 10:50am, but we're always happy to have you whenever you have availability!

OPEN PTA BOARD/CHAIR POSITIONS FOR 25-26 SCHOOL YEAR
The MCS Noble PTA is looking for a few good people to join our board and chairs next school year. Three years of middle school goes by so quickly, so don't wait to get involved! The following positions, with a brief description, are currently open to be filled for the 2025-2026 school year.
PTA Board Positions:
Vice President, Membership
The vice president(s) shall perform duties requested by the president and the board of directors. In the event of a vacancy in the office of president, the vice president, or the vice presidents acting together if there is more than one, shall assume the duties of the president until a new president is elected.
Promote PTA membership to Noble’s community via digital, print, and sign communication. Conduct membership drives. Collect dues and maintain paid status. Keep organized data regarding PTA membership. Present membership updates at each PTA meeting.
Secretary/ Communications
Gather details and coordinate transmission of information about PTA activities to Noble families via email, social media, fabulous e-newsletter (like the one you are reading right now!), marquee, etc. Post monthly meeting minutes and maintain an online calendar of events on Givebacks.
PTA Chair Positions:
Eagle Pride Fund
The Eagle Pride Fund is a direct donation program of MCS Noble PTA and provides incredible support for the students & staff of Noble. You will work closely with the Treasurer to promote, request, collect, and distribute donations.
Free Money
Submit necessary online registration/paperwork. Alert the community to ways that the Noble PTA may receive free money (BoxTops, Publix, Harris Teeter, Givebacks). Submit kick-back checks to the treasurer throughout the year.
Reflections Chair
Register at national, state, and county levels. Create a timeline for deadlines. Advertise the program to spread awareness among students, teachers, and families. Work with teaching staff for various academic opportunities. Collect submissions and coordinate judging at the school level. Submit winners to the county level.

We invite you to join the PTA because your membership makes a difference in our ability to support the health, education & welfare of students, staff & families in our school community. There is no right or wrong way to be involved - anything you can give, whether it's time or money - will support your child's potential.
