- We’re thrilled to share that the Rio Vista PTA is offering a limited edition Disney-themed spirit wear shirt for pre-order (no in person sales will occur)
- All orders are due by Friday, October 4
- Each shirt is just $20
- Don’t wait too long—once the pre-sale ends, these shirts will be gone for good!
- Forms are available in the office if you would like to purchase
- Parents are welcome to purchase shirts too! If your size is not listed on order sheet please write it in!
- Shirts will only be available in black with design in white
- If you have any questions, just reach out to our office. We’re here to help!

Candy Drive
PTA is hosting a candy drive contest to help supply candy for our Trunk or Treat.
We are asking for each grade level to help us collect candy for our Trunk or Treat! We will be collecting candy until Friday, October 18.
**The grade level with the most donation of candy will receive a special treat!**

Monday, 10/28: Red-y to live a drug free life; Wear red to kick off the Red Ribbon Week
Tuesday, 10/29: Wake up Drug Free; Wear your pajamas
Wednesday, 10/30: Team up against drugs and wear your favorite team jersey or sports gear!
Thursday, 10/31: Say boo to drugs; wear your favorite costume!
Friday, 11/11: Unity Day; Orange you glad we are united against drugs. Wear orange!
School Site Council Meetings
Rio Vista is having a site council meeting from 4pm-5pm on Tuesday October 15, 2024 & Tuesday, October 29, 2024. Our meetings occur on Zoom or in person at the Rio Vista Admin Office (conference room). Site council meetings are open to the public.

PTA Art Fundraiser 10/21 - 10/25
Our Rangers have been hard at work creating amazing artwork for our upcoming fundraiser!
A sample of their artwork will be sent home to you as a magnet during the week of October 15 (magnet does not need to be returned). You will also have the opportunity to purchase your child's artwork on a variety of items such as mugs, mouse pads, ornaments, and much more!
Artwork items will only be available to purchase from Monday, October 21 - Friday, October 25
Please note: After Friday, October 25, the artwork will no longer be available for purchase.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact our office. We appreciate your support and look forward to showcasing the creativity of our Rangers!
Monster Mash 10/25
- Tickets are $5 each for students and adults (tickets will be sold pre-sale and at the door)
- Everyone attending the event must have a ticket
- Pre-Sale Ticket forms will be going home Friday, October 4 and can be returned to the office by Friday, October 18 (cash only for pre-sale tickets - exact change is required)
Pre-Sale Tickets will be distributed to students on the day of Monster Mash: Friday, October 25
- For faster entry - please pre-order your tickets by Friday, October 18
Important Information for Monster Mash Event:
- Students will not be allowed to enter without an adult
- Everyone attending Monster Mash must have a ticket
- Tacon' Todo food truck will be selling food (15% of all sales will be donated to Rio Vista)
- One Stop Fruit Stand will be selling fruit cups with toppings (they will be donating a percentage of sales back to Rio Vista's PTA)
- Snacks and glow items will be on sale at the event
- This event is for Rio Vista students only with the exception of younger siblings that are attending with their family.
- Scary costumes and weapons are strictly prohibited at the Monster Mash
- Cash & Zelle will both be accepted
