We were excited to cheer on our Lady Eagle Volleyball team before their State Semi-Final game. They went on to WIN the State Championship! Congratulations ladies! Young loves you and we are so proud of you!
Mrs. Pounds' first grade class was treated to a pizza party provided by our wonderful PTO for being the class to raise the most money during our Pay-the-Day Calendar fundraiser! Thank you again to everyone who participated in our fundraiser!
Thankful Turkeys
We listened to the story- Thanks for Thanksgiving and shared some things we are thankful for. We also decorated feathers to go on our turkey!
Mrs. Moon’s class exercised our power to vote today in social studies ! After taste testing Chips Ahoy! And Oreos, each student created a campaign poster and cast their vote for their favorite cookie. And the winner in our class is….Chips Ahoy
Third Grade Cookie Fossil Dig
Today, we are paleontologists! We had so much fun doing a cookie fossil dig and excavating “fossils” from our “rocks”!
4th Annual 4th Grade Thanksgiving Parade
Students read Balloons Over Broadway by Melissa Sweet and learned about the origin of the balloons in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Students then worked with a partner to design, create and manipulate their own balloon for our parade.
Students also wrote their own commentary to be read as their balloons paraded along Broadway!
