Forty-nine families and over one-hundred children were here on Saturday, March 8th to learn more about their path from middle school, to high school, to college. It was a great learning experience for all. (We even has some dance lessons after lunch with Ms. Wilson from our cafeteria)

Mr. Coyle was greeted by AISD leaders to announce that he is the finalist for Principal of the Year. He is honored to represent Webb and AISD secondary, as he goes against the 2 elementary finalists at this year's Salute Awards on May 7th.

The Webb staffed owned the court as they played against their favorite opponents, the students. It was an amazing time, and there were no hard feelings. Great job, everyone!

The chosen students were awarded during lunch and received their certificate and an extra snack.

Ms. Partin and CIS partnered up with The Burnt Orange Collective, a volunteer group from UT. They donated 50 pre-made bags of snack for students and helped AmeriCorps mentor Mr. Omar with supporting his students. Thank you for your dedication to Webb.

The students love the open gym and open field time happening from 7:50-8:15. This really gets them going for the day ahead. Over 60 students join in the fun each day! Thank you to Mr. Garcia, Mr. Hoyle, Mr. Sansano, Mr. Kirill, and Mr. Pervis for their support with this student initiative.

Thank you to Mr. G for supporting our CATCH initiative each week and ensuring our students are safe. This week we had a lot of students go out as a reward for hard-work during the TELPAS and CAT testing.

Ms. Flores received her Teacher of the Year gift bag from the district. Meanwhile her students showed off their work and their oatmeal treats after a long test.

For the first time in Webb history, the Webb band received a Superior rating at the UIL Varsity Level! We could not be more proud of the students for their hard work each day (and night) to prepare for this competition. Thank you to Mr. Munoz for all his hard work and dedication to his band students. This is amazing!

Tennis tryouts for boys and girls began this week to determine who will be on the team. Mr. Garcia will be returning as coach. Track and Field has also started with coaches De La Garza and Sansano at the helm. Hopefully the students are faster on the track than they are getting to classes. 😜 We look forward to a great season!

Mr. Sansano's class cleaned up the field in preparation for track and field practice. He thanked them for their help with a little ice-cream surprise.

Hello Webb Families:

We hope everyone had a great spring break. We look forward to starting our last 9-weeks. Please remember that in order to pass to the next grade level, all students must have above 90% attendance with no failing final averages. Please remember to check the parent portal to see how your child is performing.

We will be sending home letters this week if your child is still in need of a vaccination. Please ensure that these are taken care of as soon as possible and give the records to our school nurse. Thank you!
