SEL Screeners This Week
This week we will be completing the Social, Academic, and Emotional Behavior Risk Screener (SABERS). Teachers will complete the screener for all students. Students in second through eighth grade will also take a self assessment. The data collected from this screener provides valuable insights into your child’s strengths and areas for growth. It also assists us in identifying where additional support may be needed. If you have any questions about this screener and how we use the results, please feel free to reach out to me or your child’s teacher.

Bus Information
This year, our bus riders have been using tags to scan as they enter and exit the bus. If properly cared for, these tags are designed to last.
In the event that a tag becomes damaged or lost, District 3 will replace the first tag free of charge for all bus riders. Any subsequent replacements will incur a $5 replacement fee.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Beth Voyles at the District Office.
Candor Presentations
Each year, 5th and 6th grade have presentations from Candor Health Education. This year they will be on February 11th from 8 AM to 9:30 AM. 5th grade students receive the Puberty 1 presentation while 6th graders will participate in the Human Reproduction and Embryology Presentation. In addition, students will be doing a brief pre-activity Friday, February 7th or Monday, February 10th in science class. Please view the letters provide by Candor for more information.
