The RI Office of Library and Information Services (OLIS) is pleased to announce the launch of the Library Presenter Directory (LPD). The LPD is an online clearinghouse for information about program presenters, as submitted by presenters, for the use of Rhode Island libraries. We are excited to populate the directory and invite you to submit your program listings so that your information will be available to libraries throughout the state as they look to book programs throughout the year.
The directory is open for registration, listing submissions, and updates to existing listings year-round, however it is strongly encouraged that you submit your listings by January 17, 2020 to ensure inclusion in the LPD when it promoted to libraries in late January.
All listings will be reviewed by OLIS staff before they are included in the directory. Inclusion in the directory does not constitute endorsement of services, and content is not reviewed or vetted for accuracy. Once the listing is approved for inclusion, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to your listing, and that listing will appear in the directory and become visible in search results. Listing approvals will typically take approximately 3 business days, but please allow up to 5 business days through January as we anticipate high volume.
