Pick Up Fall Fundraiser Tomorrow Night

Tussing Elementary's annual fundraiser orders will be delivered on Wednesday, October 23.

Please pick up your orders Wednesday, October 23 after school from 4:00 - 6:30 pm.

Picture 'Retake' Day This Thursday

Picture retakes will be on Thursday, October 24.

If you are retaking your pictures please send in your original photos.

Potluck Dinner This Thursday Night

The PTO needs your help to provide some yummy food (THEME = PASTA) for our amazing teachers and staff on conference night this Thursday, October 24.

The teachers will eat between 4:00 - 5:00 pm; please drop off already made and ready to serve items on Thursday afternoon.

Red Ribbon Week

Next week we will celebrate Red Ribbon Week and encourage our students to make healthy choices.

We invite our students to participate in theme days:

Monday, October 28: "Red Ribbon Week Kickoff" - wear red

Tuesday, October 29: "Sock it to Drugs" - wear crazy socks

Wednesday, October 30: "We're Not Impressed by Drugs" - dress to impress

Thursday, October 31: "Say BOO! to Drugs" - wear black and orange (No Halloween costumes please.)

Friday, November 1: "Tussing Says No to Drugs" - wear a Tussing shirt or purple

Trunk or Treat Event

Tussing Elementary's Trunk or Treat event will take place on Friday, November 1 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. We hope you are able to join in the fall fun!

Please consider volunteering for a position and signing up to drop off candy.

Please drop off candy to the front office no later than October 30.

Take a picture of you dropping off the candy and #teamtussing on Social Media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram & Facebook.

Holiday Assistance

The holidays are quickly approaching along with all the wonderful memories made during this special time of the year. The holidays are an enjoyable time with family and friends, however, that does not mean that they are not stressful!

We realize some families may need some extra assistance providing a more memorable holiday for their children. Pickerington Schools are teaming up, once again, with the Violet Township Fire Department to help provide some holiday assistance for families in need during this holiday season.

If you would like to request holiday assistance this year please contact our school counselor, Annette White, by calling 614-834-2600 or emailing annette_white@plsd.us. The deadline for requesting assistance is November 22.

Achievement Records

As we continue to evolve with technology and cost-saving measures, parents of elementary students will now receive achievement records digitally through Infinite Campus starting with the 2019-2020 school year.

Paper copies of achievement records will not be sent home unless internet access is not available. If this is the case please let your teacher or principal know as soon as possible.

At the end of each quarter, you will receive an e-mail from Infinite Campus (from the building) alerting you that achievement records are available to view through the parent portal.

The achievement record will be a PDF version that can be downloaded and printed.

Adult English Classes

Beginning in October, FREE English classes for adults will be offered every Wednesday at Fairfield Elementary (13000 Coventry Avenue in Pickerington).

Beginner classes are from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Intermediate classes are from 7:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
