Registration/Transfers
Registration Opens April 14th
Let’s get ready for another year of learning and growth together!
Pre-K Qualifier Registration
Eligibility Requirements:
A child is eligible for enrollment in free prekindergarten if they are at least four years of age on or before September 1st of that school year and meets one of the following requirements.
Is unable to speak or comprehend the English Language
Is economically disadvantaged eligible to participate in the national free or reduced-price lunch program
Is homeless as defined by 42 United States Code (U.S.C) section 1143a
Is the child of an active duty member of the armed forces of the United States, including the state military or the reserves
Is the child of a member of the armed forces of the United States, including the state military forces or the reserves, who was injured or killed while serving on active duty
Is or ever has been in foster care or under the conservatorship of the Department of Family Protective Services
Is the child of a police officer, firefighter, or emergency medical responder seriously injured or killed in the line of duty and received the Star of Texas Award
If you meet one or more of these eligibility requirements, then contact Ann Myers to provide the needed documentation and complete the registration process.

New In-District Registration
Complete the steps below if you reside within the boundaries of the district and are a new student to the district.
If you have any questions, please call the registrar, Ann Myers. There are two parts to the enrollment process for a new student.
- Create a Parent Portal account. (Linked on our website.)
- Once logged in to the Parent Portal, click on "My Account." This can be accessed by clicking on the down arrow in the top right corner of your screen.
- Click "Enroll a New Student."
- Complete the first part of registration and upload all documents.
Once registration is complete and the registrar has completed the integration process, you will be emailed your Parent Portal ID for your new student. Use this ID to link your student in the Parent Portal. You will only have this option once the registrar has completed the integration process.
- Log in to Parent Portal.
- Click on "My Account."
- Click "Link an Enrolled Student."
- Enter the ID.
- Click on "Summary" on the left side of the screen.
- Then click on "Resume Registration" to complete the remaining pages of student registration in the Parent Portal. You will be required to complete all pages.
- Click to "Finish and Submit."
- Information you will need to have nearby before beginning
- Student’s social security card number
- The license plate number for each contact or guardian who has the right to transport your student
- Documents to upload
- Up-to-date immunization record
- Original birth record
- Social Security Card - An alternate number can be issued if you prefer. Communicate your preference to Mrs. Myers at myersa@eraisd.net
- Proof of Residency
- Enrolling person's driver's license or other form of government-issued ID.
Helpful Hints: When asked for the parent or guardian name, please type the first and last name. If you come upon a question and do not know the required answer, DO NOT put question marks across the field. Instead, exit out of the registration packet, and start over when you have the necessary information. You will need to know the permit or license number of each student driver and their license plate information. This information is required for the student to be able to park on campus.
Returning In-District Registration
We look forward to another great year with your student! Complete the steps below if you reside within the boundaries of the district and are a returning student to the district.
- Log in to your Parent Portal account. (Linked on our website.)
- Once logged in, click "Resume Registration" at the top of your screen.
- Complete all forms on the left side of the screen. Please take time to review all pages (even those marked "complete") and make any changes.
- Click "Finish and Submit to District."
- Information you will need to have nearby before beginning
- Student’s social security card number
- The license plate number for each contact or guardian who has the right to transport your student
- Documents to upload
- Up-to-date immunization record. (Updated record required each year.)
- Proof of Residency (New proof of residency required each year.)
- Enrolling person's driver's license or other form of government-issued ID. (Only required if different from current year.)

Transfer Applications
The process for admitting transfer students is as follows:
- Apply for transfer by completing the transfer application and enrolling a new student in the Parent Portal.
- Provide documents to registrar.
- District review of application.
- Interview with campus principal.
There are TWO STEPS that must be completed for new transfer student enrollment consideration:
- Transfer students will need to complete the transfer application.
- Students will need to be registered in the Parent Portal by following the steps below.
- Create a Parent Portal account. (Linked on our website.)
- Once logged in to the Parent Portal, click on "My Account." This can be accessed by clicking on the down arrow in the top right corner of your screen.
- Click "Enroll a New Student."
