Principal's Message
Greetings Washington Families,
Welcome to this week’s edition of The Washington Weekly! In this issue, we’re sharing important reminders about cafeteria snacks, managing school lunch accounts through My School Bucks, and our Lost and Found. You'll also get to meet our amazing Student Support Services team, who are here to support your child's academic, social, and emotional needs.
We truly value your input and would love for you to complete our brief survey to help us understand any barriers to attendance and gather suggestions for improving future events and family engagement. As a thank you, THREE participants will be selected for VIP parking spots at our next family night, and ONE lucky winner will receive a $25 gift card after the survey closes. Your voice matters—thank you for helping us make Washington GT even better!
Let's make it a great week at 1000 Fayetteville Street!
Magically,
Catie Burnette
Principal

- For student safety, we kindly ask parents to talk with their child about not sharing snacks or food with others. Students should only eat what they have brought from home or purchased for themselves and should not purchase snack items for their friends.
- As a reminder, parents can set restrictions on meal accounts through the My School Bucks website to help manage food choices at school. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe and healthy!
