A Note from the Principal
Good Afternoon Families:
The winter sports season came to an exciting close this past weekend! Our teams had fantastic seasons, and our athletes truly shined—great job to all involved! Our winter sports banquet was a great way to celebrate our teams and athletes - thank you to all who attended.
And just like that, the spring sports season has begun. It was a welcome sight to see the snow melt and our multipurpose fields once again filled with student-athletes getting back into action.
Best of luck to our Robotics Team this weekend as they head to their next competition at the University of Rhode Island —your hard work and dedication have not gone unnoticed!
Our students also spent time on Friday preparing for their upcoming AP exams. Keep up the great work—your efforts now will pay off in May.
Please check out the newest Podcast featuring seniors Catalina Colvin and Abigail Felzani. They spoke with Dr. Conway about their AP Psych class and how they've learned about brain development as it relates to language and reading. The link is below under Pentucket Teaching and Learning Blog. Abbie and Cat were articulate and insighful - certainly worth the listen!
As we look ahead to the end of the school year, we will continue to share important dates as they are finalized. We're holding off just a little longer to make sure Mother Nature doesn’t “spring” any surprise snowstorms our way!
Please continue to check the SMORE and class pages regularly for the most up-to-date information regarding end-of-year events.
Have a great week!

Tuesday 3/25 for Dangers of Vaping: What Parents Need to Know!
This year, vaping, tobacco and nicotine use among youth and young adults are still major concerns. Every day, more and more discreet vapes enter the market. They are meant to sneak past adults by camouflaging as common household objects, video games, toys, and school supplies.
Behind the enticing flavors and flashy colors of e-cigarettes are harmful chemicals and nicotine addiction. Now is the time to remain vigilant and learn the essentials to help kids avoid or quit vaping! Our virtual presentation Dangers of Vaping: What Parents Need to Know will be held on Tuesday, March 25 at 6:00pm Eastern Time. At the end of this presentation, participants will be able to:
- Understand and recognize tobacco industry tactics targeting youth
- Explain the dangers of nicotine e-cigarettes/vapes, non-nicotine vapes, and other new tobacco products
- Know the steps to protect youth and how to advise others to get involved
- Know how to take action in your own communities
Make sure to register for this FREE event held on March 25th. It is open to all, including parents, people who work with youth, and others. The recording will be available to all registrants after the webinar. If you are looking to help fight this cause, please click here to donate.
